Cardiff To Pontypridd Cycle Route

Although over the last year we have been on the Taff Trail quite a few times we have always tended to head towards Cardiff Bay on family rides.

We had discussed beforehand and knew we had limited time and thought we would make our way from Pontprennau joining the Taff Trial at Hayley Park and make our way to Pontypridd, see our map below for full details of the route we took. We took just over 3.5 hours to complete with a good stop for some snacks just on the outskirts of Ponty.

If you can make your way to the start of the Taff Trail this is a great route in the main for families with the majority of the trail being traffic free.
