Cardiff to Caerphilly Castle
Well we haven't done this in a while what with all our running exploits and them being at different ends of the spectrum 100 m to marathon+ we dont often get much adventure time together - Pocket Rocket and the Trail Blazer.
Today we had planned some time for a social and easy cycle. We decided on Cardiff to Caerphilly Castle, a route we know well but had not done in a while. As an added bonus we would use our CSSC membership cards to get FREE entry into the castle. CSSC members get FREE entry into Cadw sites
We had a blast just like old times.. We used the cycle to catch up and set the world to rights.
When we got to the castle we locked up our bikes and showed our CSSC cards to gain free access. We had a good look around the castle, the various rooms and were overall impressed with the experience. We both thought we would go back to explore further!
After the castle we went for a cheeky coffee to try to warm up as the temperature all morning felt freezing.
