British Masters Championships

7th and 8th March Lee Valley

What a great weekend of Masters Athletics and Newport Harriers were well represented with Brett Davis, Keith Powell, Eleri Jones, Louise Kirby, Juliet Sidney, Stuart Pearce and Eric Oram all putting on great performances with a host of pbs, sbs and medals galore.

Louise Kirby had a season’s best in the 60m, fastest 200m for over 2 years and Bronze in the 400m - Boom!

Eleri put in a storming performance in the in the 200m to take Silver - get in there!

Juliet Sidney AKA Pocket rocket got gold in 60m and 200m - Tidy!

Brett Davis who has had a great indoor season finished with 2 great runs in the 400m and 800m winning a Bronze medal in each - impressive!

Stuart Pearce put in some of his fastest ever and consistent racing over the last 2 weeks for Wales and at the Championships. The summer looks exciting!

Eric Oram produced his first 60m for many a year in an amazing time and spectacular finish, seriously one to watch video on his timeline!

Keith Powell produced a season's best 28.35 in his 200m and took Bronze in the Pole Vault
