Newport Athletes Perform Excellently at Regional Championships

Saturday 12th May 2018 Cardiff

Some members were competing for the first time full of smiles and expectation, others were enjoying generally good conditions to perform at their best. Well done to everyone :)

Following a quick count of the medallists in the Regional Championships and I counted 39 gold medals, 28 silver and 15 bronze in the East Wales Championships for Newport Harriers, plus 1 gold medal in the South Wales Championships. An excellent return.

It was a lovely atmosphere and great to see so many of the coaches and members supporting each other, AWESOME :)
