Under 11s Track and Field Competition Summer 2018

The Welsh Junior League (East Div) we can enter four athletes per event. There are 6 events plus a relay for the Under 11s.

These are 75m and 150m sprints, 800m, long jump, shotput and javelin.

To be eligible to compete Under 11s must be at least 9 years old and in school years 4 and 5.

Dates Welsh Junior League U11

Sat 5th May-WJL-Hereford

Sun 3rd June-WJL-Cardiff

Sat 30th June-WJL-Newport

Sat 28th July-WJL-Newport

Sat 18th Aug-or-Sun 19th Aug WJL Plate or Cup final

Sat/Sun 1/2 Sept Les Davies Club Challenge Cup TBA

Due to the limited number of team places available and the high numbers of Under 11s, I will endeavour to make sure that everyone who wishes to compete does so during the season. It may not be possible in every competition.

If there are any other opportunities for Under 11s to compete during the summer season I will send parents’ the details as soon as I have them.

If parents hear of other events please let me know.
