Welsh Athletics & Welsh Schools Combined Events Championships

Three Newport Harriers athletes competed in this year’s competition.

Harry Bradley was our podium athlete, taking bronze medal in U13 Boys Quadrathlon. Harry was 11th after shot and hurdles, but then came his two strongest events – long jump and 800m – where he made rapid progress up the leader board.

Antonia Dawes was 7th in U15 Girls, an improvement of 8 places on last season. Antonia improved her Pentathlon PB by 118 points. Morgan Keen Williams was 26th in U15 Boys, recording PBs in 80m hurdles, shot, and pentathlon.
